Natural Disasters by Alaric and Victor Snow

1.
When the sky darkens, day or night and a hook forms in the swirling sky
When the sirens blow their warning cry, you better take cover, take cover
Winds can reach 300 miles per hour, rip off roofs and topple trees like a flower
You ain't never seen this kind of power, you better take cover, take cover

Know the warning signs
So that you aren't left behind.

natural disasters - from the quakin and the shakin to the waters rising 10 feet high
natural disasters - from the thunder and the lightning to tornadoes on the fourth of july
natural disasters - might be an avalanche or volcanic ash raining from the sky
natural disasters - the landscape changing in the blink of a hurricane's eye (eye eye eye, eye eye eye, eye)

2.
Forming out on the open seas, absorbing all that warm humidity
A tropical disturbance is gathering, you better watch the weather, better watch the weather
As it grows in strength and ferocity, it gets a name, it's own identity
If it reaches land, it will be more than a breeze, you better watch the weather, better watch the weather

Know the warning signs
So that you aren't left behind.

natural disasters - the landscape changing in the blink of a hurricane's eye (eye eye eye, eye eye eye, eye)

Avalanches Wildfires Tsunamis and Blizzards too
Hailstorms and even Asteroids can come crashing down on you
There's epidemics and solar flares, and floods can happen almost anywhere
There's a lot to learn to know what you should do, cause it could happen to you

3.
Often found along the ring of fire, volcanos are disasters just waiting to transpire
With all that magma things can quickly get dire, get ready to run, get ready to run
If one should blow, they'll be ash in the sky, could block out the sun in a blink of an eye
And lava will burn everything in sight, get ready to run, get ready to run

Know the warning signs
So that you aren't left behind.
